Press-cuttings

Handelsonderwijs Burgerschool

Through his wife Christianne Delbeke, Georges Couckuyt came into the possession of a book full of press-cuttings. This book was composed by Cordelia Vandewiele, a relative of Christianne Delbeke. Cordelia was the "devoted secretary" of Guido Gezelle in Kortrijk. She had a great admiration for Gezelle. Her real profession was insurance agent with the insurance-company Securitas.

This is a pencil-drawing of Cordelia Vandewiele
